In response to explicit requests, Novapet, the main PET resins producer company resins in the Iberian peninsula, together with its subsidiary Farmaplás, located in Fuenlabrada (Madrid), have made available to the San Jorge de Huesca and Comarcal de Barbastro hospitals, new plastic bottles as those donated a few days ago to the Barcelona Clinic hospital, to be filled with the disinfectant gel so necessary these days, thus allowing them to be distributed to all the health personnel of both centers, to health centers, mental health centers as well as to nursing homes in numerous towns in the province of Huesca, such as Yéqueda, Sabiñánigo and Biescas among others.
An action that will undoubtedly improve the safety and health conditions of those who are at the forefront of the battle against the coronavirus.
The quantity of donated containers is less in this case due to the different size of the receiving hospitals, but in any case they cover the needs expressed by both centers, and they are all equipped with the corresponding dosing caps.
Novapet and Farmaplás are maintaining their packaging production at 100%, since according to RDL 10/2020, they are essential industries in the distribution chain of food, hygiene or pharmaceutical products, and very especially, at this moment, their work is of vital importance for society in general.
Farmaplás is dedicated to the manufacturing of finished plastic packaging in Fuenlabrada (Madrid), and it has been this company which has produced all the bottles delivered in both hospitals, starting from the PET produced by Novapet in its factory in Barbastro (Huesca).
