CMT<\/a> celebrated its 20th GEPET & Recycling conference this year in Madrid the last 8th<\/sup> and 9th<\/sup> of May, with crucial updates on PET market developments, breakthroughs in PET recycling technologies, 100% rPET innovations and many more.<\/p>\n

Many of the topics discussed were focused on where does the industry stand and how are supply chains transforming themselves. We know, in our sector, that the PET industry supply chain is rapidly transforming as every stake holder adapts to fulfil its role and responsibility as a sustainable producer.<\/p>\n

Another important topic tackled during the congress was how are collection & recycling infrastructures changing to support plastics materials being recycled.<\/p>\n

Novapet<\/a> was invited to explain its ideas and projects to embrace the circular economy and its participation on the recycling chain as a PET producer.<\/p>\n

Our colleagues Andr\u00e9s Falceto<\/a> and V\u00edctor Monge<\/a>, attended to the conference with a brilliant exposition of what\u2019s Novapet bringing around the Circular Economy along the PET Packaging Value Chain.<\/p>\n

Some big recycling projects Novapet is developing were presented to the attendees:<\/p>\n

  1. Production and injection of high value recycled PET: bottle to bottle.<\/li>\n
  2. Innovative recycling of white opaque PET bottles.<\/li>\n
  3. Creation of logistics and recycling circuits with total circularity to manage PET bottles.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    PET producers are really taking care of the way they do things properly around PET, and of course around recycling. <\/p>\n

    The circular economy is here to stay, let\u2019s take the most of it. Because we all know PET is not the problem, it is part of the solution!<\/p>\n

    It was, without any doubt, a very special meeting to greet colleagues from the sector, and some even dared some sevillanas<\/em> between presentations and appetizers.<\/p>\n
